in silico, in vivo, and in vitro CSF experiments. Laser Doppler vibrometry surface motion analysis of an in vitro spinal cord model (left), in vivo MR pulse wave velocity measurement in the spinal canal (center), and an in vitro cerebrospinal fluid system model (right).

Overview

Welcome to the Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Laboratory research website! The CSF Lab is led by Bryn Martin in conjunction with the Laboratory of Hemodynamics and Cardiovascular Technology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) to investigate the underlying biomechanical and hydrodynamic mechanisms responsible for pathologies of the cerebrospinal and cerebrovascular systems. Please direct questions to Bryn Martin at: mail [atz] csflab [dotz] com.

Purpose of CSF lab.com

  1. foster collaboration and discussion between CSF and cerebrovascular researchers
  2. provide in vivo and in vitro experimental data
  3. increase interest in CSF and craniospinal disorder research
