Bryn Martin is a post-doctoral fellow at the EPFL Laboratory of Hemodynamics and Cardiovascular Technology and seeking a tenure-track faculty position. He completed a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago focused on the biofluid mechanics of syringomyelia and Chiari malformation and served his first post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Akron. Dr. Martin's research interests include neurohydrodynamics of craniospinal disorders, cardiovascular hemodynamics, medical technology and devices and sleep disorders. He is currently a principle investigator and co-investigator for a number of clinical research studies employing MRI, cerebrovascular ultrasound and medical instrumentation. When not in the lab, Dr. Martin's free time is enjoyed writing music and taking long walks with his wife and children.
