Dr. Martin's research interests include neurohydrodynamics of craniospinal disorders, intrathecal drug delivery, cardiovascular hemodynamics, in vitro and numerical modeling of cerebrospinal fluid, medical technology and devices.  He is currently a principle investigator and co-investigator for a number of clinical research studies employing MRI, cerebrovascular ultrasound and medical instrumentation.  When not in the lab, Dr. Martin's free time is enjoyed writing [http://www.bryyn.com music] and taking walks with his family.

Bryn Martin

Bryn Martin is an Associate Professor of Biological Engineering at The University of Idaho Department of Biological Engineering. From 2012-15, Dr. Martin served as the first Director of the Conquer Chiari Research Center at the University of Akron. He completed his post-doctoral training from 2009-2012 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology EPFL Laboratory of Hemodynamics and Cardiovascular Technology. He completed a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago focused on the biofluid mechanics of cerebrospinal fluid flow in central nervous system disorders (syringomyelia and Chiari malformation).
