Bryn Martin is the Director of the Conquer Chiari Research Center at the University of Akron. He completed his post-doctoral training at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology EPFL Laboratory of Hemodynamics and Cardiovascular Technology. He completed a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago focused on the biofluid mechanics of syringomyelia and Chiari malformation and served his first post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Akron. Dr. Martin's research interests include neurohydrodynamics of craniospinal disorders, cardiovascular hemodynamics, medical technology and devices and sleep disorders.
